4.7 is definitely overrated. Waited 40minutes for the food and got starved. Still feel that the food is not as good when we are super hungry. Portion sizes are good but considering that the pineapple fried rice cost us 32dollars! Not to mention that the mango sticky rice is 15 and looks nothing like the pictures on google menu! (It tasted good tho) Staffs were amazing throughout the booking till checking, awesome team. Anyways, definitely could find a better Thai restaurant to go.

Might be my fav Thai restaurant in Burnaby. You get a choice of sitting outside under the skylight or inside with A/C. I would choose outside if possible. We ordered the meat platter, pineapple fried rice, Tom Yum Fish hotpot, and mango sticky rice. All the dishes tasted amazing and made me feel like I was eating in Thailand. Must visit if you are in the Burnaby North area. Will return to try their Pad Thai and curries next time.

Overall we had an amazing experience here. The food was delicious and flavourful. The main highlight for us was the soft shell crab yellow curry. It felt like a unique dish to be able to find and the curry itself was well balanced. The tofu pad thai was also well flavoured, with the tofu having been marinated ahead to give it extra flavour and not tasting as if it had simply been added as an afterthought. I would say the only disappointment was the crispy pork belly as the meat was a little on the dry side.

Saw this bragged about on Instagram and thought we’d try it. On a Thursday night it was busy, we had a reservation made the same day. Limited menu, we didn’t order the fish and that was probably a mistake as everyone else seemed to be ordering it. We had an appetizer, and two mains and the food was delivered out of order. One main came out before the appetizer, the hot tea I ordered took forever to be delivered to the table. The spicy chili I asked for had to be ordered twice. It looks like this restaurant is trying to incorporate robot food delivery to the tables but the servers had to help deliver it. All the snafus of the mediocre service did not detract from most of the delicious food. The red curry my beef ribs were swimming in, was flavorful and delicious. The appetizer was yummy beef spring rolls with an awesome vinegar sauce. My wife’s Pork Belly main was not served piping hot and (in my opinion) was undercooked. Rice and pickled veggies were great! Overall, the outside of the restaurant needs a lot of weed clean up, the inside is tired and not well kept. Service was not great, and the robot server needed to much help to be cool. One visit is enough of this place for me, but it you like Thai fish dinner, it’s probably better.

Would have been 5 stars if the service actually existed! We were waiting for 10 minutes in the front with nobody seating us. Eventually, we sat ourselves down. There was only one waiter inside the restaurant, and never once did they come to our table to check if we were ready to order. The price is also a bit on the higher end. Service aside, the food is exceptional. All the dishes were good, but my favorite was the tom yum soup (very savory and flavorful) and the mango sticky rice. It had fresh mangoes and a hint of delightful saltiness from the milk.

Mixed experience, but overall enjoyable. A few dishes were disappointing — the papaya salad was overly sour and the portion was quite small for the price. The minced pork basil stir-fried rice was also underwhelming and not something I’d recommend. One important note: if you order the fish with two flavors in a split pot, it’s not two whole fish — it’s one fish split in half with each half served in a different flavor. That said, most of the other dishes were delicious and satisfying. I chose to celebrate my birthday here, and it turned out to be a great choice. They even offer birthday party deals, which was a nice bonus. While the prices aren’t low, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Must try the Thai green milk tea — it was excellent!

I visited this Thai restaurant recently, and while the service was friendly and the presentation of the dishes was very nice, the food itself didn’t work for me. Every dish we ordered was overwhelmingly sweet. I usually prefer my meals more on the savory side, but this went beyond just a hint of sweetness—it was hard to taste anything else. I even tried rinsing each bite in water to tone it down, but the meat had already been marinated in sugar, so even after removing the sauce, it was still very sweet. If you enjoy Thai food with a strong sweet profile, this might be your kind of place. But for those who prefer more balanced or savory flavors, it may not be the best fit.
